15 fan favourites are in the running—it’s up to YOU to make sure they stay in the game!

Music lovers, unite! Here’s your chance to prove that your favourite artist has the best fans on earth!

For the past two years, the EMAs have featured the Biggest Fans award, honouring the artist with the most passionate fan following. Like, in the whole world! Lady Gaga took the prize in 2011, and One Direction bagged it in 2012. This year, we’re switching up the game—instead of regular voting, the only way to boost an artist for Biggest Fans is to join a Fan Team and earn points to support them.

The race for the Biggest Fans EMA starts with 15 potential nominees—and you, the fans, decide who makes the final cut! Join a Fan Team and support an artist by earning points on mtvema.com (go to the Biggest Fans page for more details). Starting 8 September, the lowest-ranked Fan Teams will be eliminated…for 10 days, one artist will get cut every day. The final 5 artists left standing become the official 5 nominees!
